Careers

Working with us means hands-on work around label finishing machines, operator training and field service. We support printers and packaging producers across South Africa, with jobs that need careful setup and steady follow-through.

Work that sits close to the machine

Our careers page is for people who enjoy practical work around digital label die-cutting and finishing equipment. The shop floor, customer sites and the service bench all matter here, because every machine has its own registration marks, rewind tension, slitting path and finishing sequence.

We hire for technical hands, clear communicators and people who can work neatly under pressure. A good fit usually understands labels, rolls, tooling, calibration and the care needed when working with printed webs, laminates and varnish layers.

Roles we recruit for

Depending on the work in front of us, we look for people who can help with machine installation, line commissioning, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs. Some roles are site based, others are workshop based, and a few move between both when a project needs extra hands.

  • Field service technicians for installation, servicing and fault finding
  • Applications trainers who can show operators how to run jobs cleanly
  • Parts and logistics support for spares, consumables and dispatch
  • Service coordinators who can keep records, schedules and job notes in order
  • Production support staff for die setup, slitting, rewinding and matrix stripping

What the work asks of you

Label finishing is exact work. A small error in web tension or registration can affect waste, output and final roll quality, so we look for people who notice detail and keep their hands steady. On some days the task is a fresh installation, on others it is a worn guide, a damaged bearing or a setup that needs patient correction.

People who fit in well here tend to be comfortable speaking to customers, reading a production line and keeping notes that another technician can follow later. The work also needs respect for safe handling, neat cable routing and clean machine housekeeping.

  • Clear communication with printers and packaging teams
  • Good fault tracing around motors, drives, sensors and controls
  • Careful work with flexible dies, lamination and varnish units
  • Willingness to travel to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha and other South African centres

The kind of person who settles in well

We value practical judgement more than fancy talk. A person who can work out why a web is wandering, or why a rewind core is not holding steady, often does better than someone who only knows the theory. People here need to stay calm when the production line is under pressure, and they need to work neatly with teams at customer sites.

If you have experience with label printers, packaging machinery, finishing lines or industrial service work, that is useful. If you are newer to the trade but learn quickly and enjoy hands-on technical work, we still want to hear from you.

How to apply

Upload your CV through the contact page enquiry form, and say which kind of role you are after. If you have trade papers, machine service experience, training experience or a background in production support, add that as well.

We read applications for workshop roles, field service roles, training roles and support roles as they come in. Keep your details clear, list the machines or processes you have worked on, and add your current location so we can understand where you are based.

Where the team works from

Our base is in Kya Sand, Randburg, and the team supports customers across South Africa from there. The work reaches printers and packaging producers in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Midrand and Kempton Park, with service work that can move from a support call to a machine visit when the job needs it.

That spread means no two days look exactly the same. One day may focus on a laser die-cutting setup, another on a semi-rotary line, then a service visit for slitting, rewinding or registration calibration. The pace suits people who like variety and like seeing a machine leave the floor in better shape than it arrived.

Finishing machine questions

What experience is useful for a role here?

Experience with label finishing, machine servicing, operator training, electrical fault finding or production support is useful. We also value careful work habits, neat records and a practical approach to solving problems.

Do you only hire technical staff?

No. We also look for people who can support parts, scheduling, job coordination and customer communication. Some roles are hands-on at machines, others keep the service side moving properly.
